Barsignum achieves the best performance in terms of fine turf characteristics. The variety has a superb fineness of leaves, similar to red fescues and outstanding tolerance to close mowing, up to 5 mm. This variety is perfectly suited for use in all turf situations, from very fine to heavy wear. Blending extremely well with other fine species such as red fescues and bent grasses, Barsignum in a mixture will guarantee a superb aesthetic appearance.

Barsignum was extensively tested in private trials at Hohenheim University in Germany. Due to the fineness of leaves Barsignum the trials in Germany showed up a perfect combination with all Festuca rubra species and with the finer leaved Poa pratensis varieties such as Barhelene.
