- MEDAL is a mixture of perennial ryegrass and red fescue, designed for the construction or overseeding of medium-fine and fine turf under high wear pressure.
- The main components of the mixture are the ryegrasses; Barolympic and Bargold. Barolympic is the stand-out cultivar ryegrass for summer sports use. It is ranked with a score of 8.7 in Table G4 of BSPB TGS 2020, the highest Mean score in the entire publication, and more than a full point clear of its nearest rival in G4!
- Bargold is an old favourite having set new standards for the species in terms of fineness of leaf. After decades of use at top venues, it still ranks #6 for fineness of leaf in Table L1.
- Bodega and Barrisse are both excellent performers, highly ranked in their respective tables in TGS 2020. They both exhibit exceptionally high shoot density and disease tolerance for their sub-species of red fescue.
