Bred by Jacklin Seed, L-93XD is a top creeping bentgrass bred specifically for high performance golf greens and eXtra Disease (XD) tolerance.

L-93XD has received excellent independent evaluations in current NTEP (National Turf- grass Evaluation Program) putting green trials comparing it side-by-side with other commercial and experimental bentgrasses.

L-93 XD was developed in the US and selected under high disease pressure in the Northeast and Transition Zone to create a bentgrass with improved tolerance to common diseases like dollar spot. L-93 XD on greens creates a smooth, uniform playing surface due to its tight knitting ability and fine leaf texture
