SMOOTH SPORT is a blend of perennial ryegrasses and smooth-stalked meadowgrass for the construction of winter sports pitches. It is recommended to allow at least three months for the smooth-stalked meadowgrass to establish.
The mixture is formulated primarily on performance in the BSPB/STRI Turfgrass Seed booklet; specifically, Tables S1 and S2 under sports wear simulation. Eurocordus and Bariris are ranked in the top-10 of their respective tables; Barorlando (ranked #16) delivers additional disease tolerance and colour to the mix.
