Intensive production from grazing with this highly palatable ley.

The concept

Intensive production from a highly palatable, very digestible ley that will give maximum dry matter intake.

SUPREME is a dense, productive, long-term, intensive grazing mixture, designed to give the option of taking later cuts of top quality silage.

  • Consistent seasonal performance is provided by CLANRYE's 103% mid-season growth and DUNLOY's 115% autumn growth, ensuring this mixture delivers a long grazing season which matches demand from turnout to late autumn
  • Creates a tight persistent sward which is highly resistant to poaching with DRUMBO and CLANRYE rated A for ground cover
  • ENSIGN White Clover Blend is included for nitrogen fixation and increased protein content

Supplied as 15kg per acre packs. Sowing: 2,979 seeds/m

Supreme (SCOT)

The product

When to sow

Sow when soil temperature is above 8C; clover will germinate at 10C.

The mixture has been designed to provide season-long production, with exceptional early spring and late summer growth.

When to cut

If grass supply outstrips grazing demand, the mixture can be shut off to deliver a high quality silage cut later in the year.

When to graze

Mixture is designed to match a traditional mid spring turnout in May, then provide high quality grazing for the rest of the season.

Produces a dense leafy sward that is easily managed. The use of later heading varieties means that any topping can be kept to a minimum.
