WINTER COVER provides very quick establishment and rapid growth for soil cover after a maize harvest, even at cool temperatures; it can also be established after a cereal harvest. WINTER COVER is flexible in the rotation, as it can be in from 6 to 24 months.
WINTER COVER is ideal for an early spring cut before being ploughed out for a spring-sown crop or used as a sacrifice field for early spring grazing as a more cost-effective alternative to rye.
