Aimee Quelch

Sales Operations Manager

 

Aimée joined the business in 2018, with experience in retail management.

 

You will find her during business hours, overseeing the internal operation, managing the Customer Experience, and Planning Team. Aimée has found the change in industry very rewarding and motivational with hopes to stay with Barenbrug for many more years. Aimée is also a member of the Global YPAC- Young Professional Advisory Committee, something she is very proud to be a part of.

 
Out of work you will find Aimée spending time with friends and family or doing any number of outdoor activities such as running/exercising, animal husbandry including her own ever-growing gaggle of pets, and tending to the seemingly, ever-unruly garden.  

She also loves a last-minute adventure to see the world or the opportunity to get out on a farm and get her hands dirty!

 

Menco Veenstra

Warehouse Manager

 

Menco joined Barenbrug in 2022 with over 25 years’ experience in logistics and leading. He is responsible for overseeing the warehouse and the team within the department.

 

Outside of work Menco is keen on cycling (like a true Dutchman)! He also enjoys scuba diving, ideally in warmer parts of the world, and when away on holiday he kindly volunteers for at least one day, cleaning the beaches of whatever the sea brings ashore.

 

Menco spends the rest of his spare time, walking in the countryside with his Cavapoo Connie.

 

Henry Hunter

Operations Administrator

 

Responsible for processing orders and managing office supplies, Henry joined Barenbrug after starting his career in hospitality. This grounding in customer service and a shared belief in always striving to be your best is what makes Henry a great fit at Barenbrug.

 

Henry is the youngest member of the Barenbrug office crew and the resident ‘car nut’ and when he is not delivering exceptional customer service over the phone and via email, he can be found making the rest of the team feel ancient as he recognises none of the old-school songs on the radio! 

 

Rosie Weavers

Operations Administrator

 

Rosie joined Barenbrug in 2021 with a background in reception and retail. Originally taken on as maternity cover but kept on permanently. Rosie is enjoying stepping out of her comfort zone and learning a new industry.

 

Outside of work you will find Rosie looking after her many pet rodents, watching movies or painting (she particularly enjoys painting old furniture). She aspires to be a homeowner with many, many animals!

 

Amy Egan

Import / Export Administrator

 

Amy joined Barenbrug in 2021 with a logistical import and export background. Day to day, you will find Amy importing and exporting seed around the globe and mixing for Northern Ireland.

 

Outside of work, you will find Amy Mountain biking, walking for miles around the UK countryside, jet setting and attending her Labradors every needs.

 

Hugo Santos

Stock Controller

 

Hugo started working at Barenbrug in 2021 and is responsible for handling all of the stock and maintaining it.

 

Outside of work Hugo coaches a women's Football team, spending quality time with his family and playing football.
