Seed supplied to turf growers meets the stringent quality controls laid down in the 'Barenbrug Turf Standard'. This means that the seed lots used in Barenbrug turf mixtures have been certified by DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs). The seed is then independently tested both before and after mixing to ensure that it is of turf quality. Barenbrug is the first grass seed company to formally introduce this strict system of seed testing.

Barenbrug turf mixtures meet the quality laid down by the Turfgrass Growers Association (TGA). Turfgrass growers therefore benefit from rapid establishment of our high germination seed lots, assisting in the production of the clean, consistent swards demanded by the industry.
